Sitting at his TV in the Oval Office, feet propped up on the desk as he is wont to do, President Obama watched the returns of the Tuesday elections begin to flow in.
"That's it! I have EVOLVED!!" he exclaimed as he slammed his copy of the New York Times to the coffee table. It was now very apparent to the President that the elections were not going his or his party's way. Most disturbing of all, 40% of the Democratic voters in a Democratic primary in West Virginia had just voted for a convicted and imprisoned felon in Texas rather than their sitting President.
It was time once again to evolve, as he had done in 1996 when he supported Gay marriage before he then opposed it to run for the Senate, then opposed it to run for the Presidency. Watching those returns he could see the blue collar Democrats, who he really didn't care about anyway , slipping away. The Reagan Democrats, it seems, had returned. The money was not flowing to his campaign to the extent it had been expected to. Auditoriums that had been filled to overflowing in the old days were now half empty. Less people were fainting at his name unless it was from lack of being able to eat. Oh yes, the Hollywood elitist 1% ers and the unions were still opening their wallets wider than the gap between Joe Biden's ears, but some key players were holding back. One of those key players, of course, being the leaders of the Gay community. It was time to "evolve" once again. And so it was. In the year 2012, needing their unconditional support, Obama came out and said what he could have said a year...two years....5 years ago, but wouldn't then because it wasn't politically expedient.. That he supports Gay marriage. That it should be a State by State issue, not a Federal issue. The fact that he would announce this is not a surprise at all, but what did surprise the President himself was Joe Biden one upping him this past weekend and forcing his hand. Most Obama watchers had expected him to hold back this announcement until after the election so that he might cling to more independent voters who opposed Gay marriage. But now, his hand had been forced. So after deep thought on this matter over a long period of time, (no doubt hurried along by Biden) , between golf games and flying all over the country at taxpayer expense to campaign for re-election President Obama has once again "evolved". On the other hand, Dick Cheney, who is possibly the biggest bogeyman the Left has ever encountered had this to say on Gay marriage OVER THREE YEARS AGO, when he was out of office, not running for office, and had nothing to gain or lose one way or the other:
The sad thing here is that the Gay community, needing all the support it can get is pretty much without choice being led around by the nose and used by someone who views them not as the human entity that they are, but as a political tool for his own re-election. And even more sadly, the hypocrisy will be lost on the media. They will choose only to glorify President Obama's "evolution". This is the new buzzword. But not if you're a Republican. In that case it is called flip-flopping and pandering for political gain.

Obama is a Very confused opportunist.A desperate man valuing power above all else.I would say he lost his principles, however one has to have them before one can lose them.

Shame that many Americans will vote for Obama based solely upon his support on gay marriage.
